… just to name a few.
When asked which of these is supposed to be ‘God’, Christians usually offer one of 2 responses:
- Jehovah/Yahweh/Jesus is ‘God’ (for Trinitarians) and all the rest are false i.e. man-made/demons.
- All are ‘God’. Different cultures just happen to have different names for the same ‘supreme’ being.
There are several reasons why it is not reasonable to believe that Jehovah/Yahweh or Jesus is a ‘God’. However, what interests me at the moment is the second response. It immediately raises the following questions:
1. Are Baal and Yahweh the same one God, just with different names?
- Elijah clearly didn’t think so:
22 Then Elijah said to them, “I am the only prophet of the Lord (Yahweh) who is left, but Baal has 450 prophets. 23 Now bring two bulls. The prophets of Baal may choose whichever one they wish and cut it into pieces and lay it on the wood of their altar, but without setting fire to it. I will prepare the other bull and lay it on the wood on the altar, but not set fire to it. 24 Then call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the Lord (Yahweh). The god who answers by setting fire to the wood is the true God!” And all the people agreed.
2. Can Yahweh be the same as Chemosh?
- Well, not according to an ancient holy Moabite inscription:
14. And Chemosh said to me, “Go, take Nebo from Israel.”
15. And I went in the night and fought against it from the daybreak until midday, and I took it
16. and I killed the whole population: seven thousand male subjects and aliens, and female subjects, aliens, and servant girls.
17. For I had devoted them to destruction for (the god) Ashtar Chemosh. And from there I took the
18. vessels of Yahweh, and I presented them before the face of Chemosh.
Moabite Stele, written 830BCE
3. Is Yahweh the same as Allah?
- Definitely not, according to Pat Robertson:
“Under no circumstances is Jehovah, the God of the Bible, and Allah, of the Koran, the same. First of all, the God of the Bible is a God of love and redemption, who sent His Son into the world to die for our sins. Allah tells people to die for him in order to get salvation, but there is no understanding of salvation. Allah was the moon god from Mecca. That is why Islam has the crescent moon. The flag of Turkey has a crescent moon with a star in it. Well, the crescent moon is because Allah was the moon god, and that is the deal. But we don’t serve a moon god. We serve the God of creation, the Creator of everything.
They are not the same. To translate Allah as God is wrong. When you see something in there and it says Allah, you translate it Allah. Don’t call it God because it is different. God is Elohim. He is the Creator, the Jehovah God, Yahweh. Yahweh of the Old Testament was the Father who brought forth Jesus into the world.”
http://www.cbn.com/700club/features/bringiton/falsereligions-index.aspx#3
-
Definately not, according to another Christian ministry:
“Does the average Muslim know that he is worshipping a moon god? No. Does he know why the crescent moon symbol sits on top of his mosque? No. Is he shocked and perhaps angered at these facts of history? Yes. But can mere denial or angry threats refute the fact that Islam is nothing more than a modern version of the ancient religion of the moon god Allah? No. The average Muslim has been kept in the dark by the Mullahs and Imams who would lose their power if the truth ever got out.”
-
Islam, as indicated by this Qur’anic passage, categorically rejects any concept of ‘God’ as being truine
“They do blaspheme who say: Allah is one of three in a Trinity: for there is no god except One Allah. If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy), verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them.”
4. Is Yahweh the same as Osiris? You decide:
“Set (Osiris’ brother) fooled Osiris into getting into a box, which he then shut, had sealed with lead, and threw into the Nile (sarcophagi were based on the box in this myth). Osiris’ wife, Isis, searched for his remains until she finally found him embedded in a tree trunk, which was holding up the roof of a palace in Byblos on the Phoenician coast. She managed to remove the coffin and open it, but Osiris was already dead. She used a spell she had learned from her father and brought him back to life so he could impregnate her. After they finished, he died again, so she hid his body in the desert. Months later, she gave birth to Horus.”
These examples demonstrate that ‘God’ cannot be all of these various entities at the same time, as each entity listed has its own unique properties and attributes many of which are in contradiction with the others’ properties and attributes. The idea that all the above listed gods refers to the same being is therefore untenable – a view is that is not controversial, as it is embraced by many conservative Christians. As such, adherents of each of these different gods bear an equal burden of proof in trying to prove the existence of their version of a ‘God’. Many modern Christian apologists typically believe they can demonstrate that the god revealed in the Bible is the only ‘God’ there is. Of course, it is my view, and that of most atheists, that these attempts fail miserably.
Can the real ‘God’, if there is one, please stand up?

Is that so? Then how come according to the Qur’an Christians will GO TO HELL, if its the same ‘God’?
[They have certainly disbelieved who say, ” Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary” while the Messiah has said, “O Children of Israel, worship Allah , my Lord and your Lord.” Indeed, he who associates others with Allah – Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. ] Qur’an 5:72

Might you mean the one that looks like an elephant, like in the picture above? If so, the reason he won’t stand up is because he is too fat!

The Bhagavad Gita says all gods are one god, but are just different aspects of Him, though I’m not sure about the other religions.

I was just reading these comments and WOW the confusion of gods and religions makes me sick so let be be very clear. (I believe in NO religion, I only believe in the ancient sumerian text and the TRUE story of our creation, no bedtime story would have been written in 22,000 sand stones then baked in an oven, obviously it is a very important true story of our start.
There are many gods yes but only 2 gods, OUR creators is who I will bring up, they are EnKi and Enlil, Enlil is the god that made man not able to procreate such as Adam’a’ (hebrew for man) the first female was lulu, ‘lilu’ lilith. (this is not up for debate it clearly says this in the oldest text/language on the planet)
Enki who is Enlil’s half brother from a different mother and the oldest went against the plan to keep man a slave and NOT let humans die off when they were done with us. Enki gave us knowledge and make us able to procreate on our own, Enki was banished from Nibiru and became enemies with his brother Enlil, Enlil and Enki had many fights/wars, Enlil’s people are dark skinned brown eye’d people, Enki (lord bright eye) went around making light eye’s haired people such as blonde and blue/green, Enki taught us , agriculture and building etc. Enlil’s went around creating his people of dark hair brown eyes for only ONE reason, to fight his brother Enki and his people, Enlil and his dad Anu wanted man to perish when they left, because Enki had greater plans for humans, to continue to live, eat, procreate. This is what Hitlers ww2 and the aryian thing was all about because the jews have no real religion, they continued to exist beyond the plan for ONLY 1 reason, to battle and kill all Enki’s people of light hair and eyes. The star of David, “king David” is total bull because in NO ancient text does it anywhere connect that star with king David who claimed Jeruselum as Isreals capital. The text clearly states that the first people Enki and Enlil created were people in their image with dark skin and eyes, they were called the first black headed dark skin people to walk the earth, I am not racist in any way, never have been! That being said, this dark skin eye story as the people that were created to be slaves, this was common knowledge just 100 yrs ago and this is why black people all over the world were used as slaves because that was OUR start.
The jews mission in their existence is to FOREVER do the work of thier god Enlil and kill all of Enki’s people that is the harsh truth NO ONE WILL TALK ABOUT AND I ASK WHY!!!!!!
Tim in Montana. forget the religious devine mumbo jumbo and realise this has all been covered up by the murders of the catholic church, I only speak the truth and for those that my words have offended I am not the one that commited thousands of murders I am just bringing up a sick fact the church wishes we did not know.
Many of the gods are in fact the same gods I will post them shortly

Here is a post to add to and complete my previous post.
It must be understood that the term Baal is titular in its usage more so than a name for a specific god. As “Baal” means “Lord”. It is also clear that the Sumerian god Enki (EN.KI) was variously known as Enki the Wise, Lord of the Earth and simply Lord. As His name is composed of two parts, EN meaning “Lord” and KI meaning “Earth”. It is because of this that we find one of the largest mistakes of the Book of Genesis of the Christians, presenting the “Lord God” and the Lord as the same entity.
Note that this is a problem amongst a people who believe that any use of the words “lord” or “god” refer specifically to one god (i.e., their god) – it is a monotheistic problem. Just as Satanists are derailed in their search for the many incarnations of the Prince of Darkness in history when they find a god who slaughters humans and children and calls down war and pestilence upon man, they mistakenly believe the god to be yet another incarnation of Satan. In such cases Satanists are going off the misperception that Satan can be found by the attributes bestowed upon Him by the Christians – i.e., the endorsement of horrible actions by a deity must mean that the deity is a devil, in the sense of being akin to the Devil – just as the Christians believe that the term “Lord” as it is used in the Bible must always refer to their god.
The idea that Satan is an evil spirit to begin with is a Christian concept, not a Satanic one. However, there are pseudo-Satanists who buy into the religion of Satanism because they think it is a simple inversion of Christianity. Such people derive some twisted pleasure from acting in such a way that would please the Christian version of Satan. Those people aren’t Satanists, they are Christians in the sense that they haven’t detached themselves from the Christian reality tunnel.
Remember that the enemy of humans – the one who calls for our blind unquestioning obedience; the one who commands the death of little children among other crimes, is the Christian god! (Hosea 9:11-16, Ezekiel 9:5-7, Exodus 12:29-30, Jeremiah 51:20-26, Leviticus 26:21-22, Isaiah 13:15-18, Numbers 31:17, Deuteronomy 2:34, Deuteronomy 28:53, I Samuel 15:3, 2 Kings 8:12, 2 Kings 15:16, Lamentations 2:20, Hosea 13:16)
“If even then you remain hostile toward me and refuse to obey, I will inflict you with seven more disasters for your sins. I will release wild animals that will kill your children and destroy your cattle, so your numbers will dwindle and your roads will be deserted.” – Leviticus 26:21-22
We call our brothers and sisters of the Ophidian Current to understand what it means when you invert the human-hating Christian god. It must be clear – it is absolutely imperative for those who wear the inverted pentagram – that if you are to seek out the Devil you would be looking for the champion of human freedom, an enemy of war and the purveyor of love. The idea that Satan represents war, destruction, blind-hate, torture, pain, all things horrid or other such unenlightened action, must be abandoned immediately. Only in ridding oneself of such Christian based programming will the identity of the Devil and the purpose for which His religion exists become clear.
Open your Christian Bible to chapter one of the Book of Genesis and you will see that the Christian god is referred to as the “Lord God” up until chapter four (and then afterward), whereupon he is suddenly referred to simply as the “Lord”. This is because chapter four – the story of Cain & Abel – is not a story about the Christian god’s interaction with Cain but a story of the Lord’s interaction with him. The “Lord” is the entity that we today refer to as Satan. It then makes sense why the “Lord,” in the story of Cain & Abel, rewards Cain (after presumably killing his brother) with a mark of protection and the promise to exact revenge on anyone who slays Cain.
“And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him. – Genesis, 4:15
The idea that Cain “slew” Abel itself is based on a gross mistranslation of the word “yaqam”, which simply relates to a person’s social status or their standing in relation to another person.
In the original story, from which the tale of Cain & Abel is based and horribly mistranslated, Qayin (Cain) is granted Kingship (Kain-ship) while his brother Hevel (Abel) is overlooked by the “Lord”. So granted by birthright, Qayin was the product of the Lord’s mating with Ava (Eve). Therefore the bloodline of Qayin is literally the bloodline of Satan. Notice that when Adam’s offspring are listed in chapter five of Genesis, Cain is not mentioned. Also pay particular attention to what Eve states at the front of chapter four. It is none other than the Lord that “helps” her conceive the child Cain.
“I have gotten a man with the help of the LORD.” – Genesis 4:1
The “Lord”, who is Enki, was the enemy of Enlil – the El Elyon, or El Shaddai – who is, upon translation, known as the “Lofty Mountain”. As we trace the evolution of the Sumerian storm god Enlil through ancient civilizations we find a skyward god transforming into the storm god Set of the Egyptians, the thunderous storm god Zeus of the Greeks, the blood-thirsty Tezcatlipoca of the Aztecs and Moloch of the Phoenicians and Canaanites (who demanded the death of first-born children just like the god of the Christians – Exodus 12:29-30), among others. We then find the same attributes within the gods of the Christians, Muslims and Jews. Which is to say that the skyward gods Jehovah, Allah and Yahweh are the product the transformation of one human-hating storm god to another, and then another, etc.
Yet it is not so simple as looking for a god that is associated with storms or the heavens and then pegging him as an earlier version of the Christian god. Indeed, the web is woven much more chaotically than that.
“In Anunnaki culture the female was the source of sovereignty and by rights Enki or Samael (Satan) was therefore the rightful heir to his father Anu, king of the Anunnaki or gods. Enlil disputed this claim and furthermore resented Enki’s patronage and assistance of mankind, whom Enlil (Jehovah-Zeus) hated and wished constantly to destroy. This story is repeated in the Greek tale of Zeus’ hatred of mankind and the war for supremacy and control of man waged between the elder gods, the Titans, led by Prometheus; and the younger gods, the Olympians, led by Zeus.” – Prince Nicholas De Vere
Given that the book of Genesis is a pathetic mistranslation of Sumerian mythos one will find that the Serpent actually was “pro-human” insofar as His origins as the Sumerian god Enki (the Babylonian Ea). So where we initially have a god who is associated with serpents (Enki); who attempts to liberate or elevate man to the status of godhood, while at least freeing man from physical and spiritual bondage of a sky god – we now see Him (Enki) later incarnated as the enemy of mankind.
In Sumerian myth the god Enki (associated with the serpent, snake, wisdom, life and agriculture) took part in the creation of mankind for the purpose of creating a slave species to serve the Grand Assembly of the Anunnaki. Enki later decided that man should be as the gods; spiritually free and enlightened beings. His half-brother however, Enlil (associated with the sky and storms), thought that man should be kept as an ignorant slave whose only purpose would be to serve the gods. What followed is Enki warring against His brother Enlil.
One Sumerian story illustrates that Enlil knew a flood was coming that would destroy much of humanity but he kept his knowledge of it secret so that man could be wiped out. Fortunately, Enki found out about the forthcoming flood and warned Ziusudra (the Akkadian Utnapishtim, and biblical Noah) and instructed him on how to survive the flood. The story of Zeus and Prometheus reflects Genesis as well. It was Prometheus who decided to give man the knowledge of fire and Zeus that demanded that man be kept ignorant. Moreover, it is Zeus who sends a flood against the Titans in an attempt to squash the resistance led by Prometheus – the resistance to human enslavement which marched against the throne of the human-hating sky god Zeus. Prometheus instructs Deucalion to build an ark and put everything in that is necessary for his survival and that of his wife Pyrrha.
When we finally arrive at the Christian tale of the story of the flood we find that monotheistic problem once again. The same being who sends the flood against mankind is the one who saves mankind! It is clear that one god (the storm god) tries to cull humanity and another god (the serpent god) attempts to save our race from total annihilation.
So you now understand that if the Devil exists He is clearly the champion of human life and freedom. The horrible associations that Satan carries are a product of the Christian and Right-Hand Path propaganda machines. As William Bramley illustrated in his book The Gods of Eden:
“The Bible informs us that the serpent in the Garden of Eden was overcome before it was able to complete its mission and give Adam and Eve the “fruit” from the second “tree.” Ea (who was also symbolized as a snake) was banished to Earth and was extensively villainized by his opponents to ensure that he could never again secure a widespread following among human beings. Ea’s title was changed from “Prince of Earth” to “Prince of Darkness.” He was labeled other horrible epithets: Satan, the Devil, Evil Incarnate, Monarch of Hell, Lord of Vermin, Prince of Liars, and more. He was portrayed as the mortal enemy of a Supreme Being and as the keeper of Hell. People were taught that his only intentions were to spiritually enslave everyone and that everything bad on Earth was caused by him. Humans were encouraged to detect him in all his future lives (“incarnations”) and to destroy him and his creations whenever he was discovered. All beliefs and practices named after his various appellations (“Satanism,” “Devil Worship,” etc.) were to be made so horrific and degrading that no right-thinking person would (or should) have anything to do with them. He and his followers were to be viewed with nothing but the utmost loathing.” The Gods of Eden by William Bramley (page 55, “Brotherhood of the Snake”)
We know that Enki/Satan is referred to as Baal because it means “Lord”. Yet Baal is associated with Moloch who is a human-hating god that stands for the sacrifice of children. Referencing earlier quotes from the Christian Bible concerning the Christian god’s love for the killing of children, it should be clear that Moloch should be more accurately associated with Jehovah, Allah, Yahweh than the “Lord” (Satan).
Does this clear up much? The 2 main gods that everyone gets confused because we have been fooled since the start of the catholic church, in the edited books of all religions they intentionally tried to confuse us and not make it clear that there are 2 gods at work here, the sky gods which was Enlil, his dad Anu and the Nibiru council, the earth god is Enki because he went against his own people and was not allowed back with his own people the Annunaki.

p.s.
Enki should never be called the devil, satan, he is the reason we humans exist today, if Enlil won and had it his way (also the way of the decision of the annunaki council and the boss man Anu) humans would not be here, and read back in all the old texts there has been no such thing as a real isrealite (jew) since between 70 a.d. and 95 a.d. I wonder if Jesus Christ existed or was a story stolen from a real religion called Pagan, Paganism, the catholic church did infact stamp out paganism and slapped a cheapo sticker over it calling/changing it to christianity which the more research I do the more I am thinking christianity might be a made up religion like the fake star of david religion. The Jesus story does sound too much like an older pagan story.
I am just a hardcore truth seeker and the facts of our past are not pretty but we need to say the things that the mainstream media will not say.
No matter the color of our skin/eyes times do change and we are all humans on the same planet that needs to get along and the jews do lie much and continue to attack others every day do the work started thousands of years ago, why do the jews still attack others in the name of their god Enlil and they say they are gods real true people but without Enlils smarter brother Enki the jews nor anyone would exist to fight so lets ban together and fight the gods that have caused this seperation, they are flesh and blood and can die just like we do, they were not gods they were aliens, every time you see the word (deity) or (nephilim)
replace those 2 words with ALIEN or ANNUNAKI our gods our creatorS!!!

the Greek tale of Zeus’ hatred of mankind and the war for supremacy and control of man waged between the elder gods, the Titans who are blonde/blue, led by Prometheus who is Enki, the younger gods, the Olympians, brown eyes dark skin led by Zeus who is also known as Enlil.
This should thin out the many gods and clear up much.

As the 6000 yr old text tells us when Cain killed Abeal Enki was pissed and changed his dna as it states so he can never grow a beard and this will always remind him of what he did, not allowing his brother to reach manhood so Cain and his girl were sent to the other side of the world from Africa to whats now America HENCE indians cannot grow facial hair.
The stories from the cuniform text when compared to whos who and where in this world do infact connect the dots very nicely, the pieces do fit well do they not?
It is a fact that the Annunaki built the pyramid of Giza and Enki says to his brother Enlil (can’t remember exact wording) “in the years to come people will marvel at this and wonder who built it”
The big pyramid and the sphynx both have been flooded by ocean water at one time maybe twice, (as testing have shown HIGH amounts of salt ocean water once covered them) it is a known fact that they can be no less than 10,500 yrs old not 5 or 6 thousand years like we are told, it may even be as old as 50,000 yrs+ + + One of Enki’s sons Marduk, the bright one had much to do with egypt and the pyramids and was imprisoned inside it and made it out with help.

Wow ! You obviously haven’t thoroughly read Sitchins works. Enlil was not directly invloved with the creation of Adam, it was enki and a woman known as the head scientist…
